The 2023 symposium is being hosted by the Department of Astronomy at Wesleyan University, in Middletown, Connecticut. The symposium will begin with a check-in (beginning 5:00) on Friday evening at the Courtyard Hartford Cromwell, 4 Sebethe Dr., Cromwell, CT 06416, and dinner (beginning 6:30) at Cafe Fiore - Cromwell, 134 Berlin Rd, Cromwell, CT 06416. Evening activities will follow (beginning 8:30) at the Van Vleck Observatory, 96 Foss Hill, Middletown, CT 06459.
Students and faculty will also be staying at the Courtyard on Friday night.
The symposium will be held on Saturday in the Center for Film Studies Auditorium (301 Washington Terrace, Middletown, CT). Breakfast will be served in the lobby of the Film Studies building Saturday morning (beginning 8:00). The symposium will begin at 8:50 AM.
Lunch will be provided in the lobby of the Film Studies building, after which lunchtime breakout sessions will take place.
The Center for Film Studies and Boger Hall are buildings 22 and 4 (located in map segment T-3 and Q-6), respectively, on the Wesleyan Campus Map.
